Swadesi Way’s Amaranth Grains are harvested from the high-altitude fields of Joshimath, Uttarakhand. Known locally as Rajgira, it is a pseudo-grain cherished for its nutritional power, nutty flavor, and gentle impact on digestion.
Naturally gluten-free and rich in protein, fiber, and important micronutrients, Amaranth is an ideal grain for both everyday cooking and fasting.
Farm to Plate Journey
Swadesi Way’s Rajgira is grown with care by the Kalpganga Farmers Collective, a network of small, committed farmers in the Himalayas. They work in harmony with the land and the seasons, practicing chemical-free, traditional farming methods.
After harvesting, the grains are sun-dried and manually cleaned in Uttarakhand only. No chemical treatment, no polishing – just pure, mountain-grown goodness from field to plate.
